Sunday Pooja
This is a special pooja, similar to Sankranthi Pooja, but performed on all Sundays only.
The motive behind this special function is the long pending request from our family members for an opportunity to conduct poojas, especially when there are only 12 months and all have been booked by family members since the inception of this Temple.
Secondly, this helps our family members to meet each other and spend some time together which in turn will strengthen the family bonds and stay united.

At our Kalari, with the advice & consent of our Thanthri Thirumeni, we introduced Ponkala for our Amma, the ‘Raktheswari’ of Kalari, on 11th March 2022.
Our Family members accepted the pooja and offering rituals wholeheartedly. The huge attendance recorded was clear evidence of the same. This year, 2023, we conducted the ritual on March 1.
A total of 106 participants showed up, which was an increase of 54% over last year.
Mahanavami / Vijayadasami Pooja
On Maha Navami, Goddess Durga is worshipped as Mahisasuramardini. It is believed that on Maha Navami day Durga killed the demon Mahishasura.
On this day Durga is blessed in the form of Saraswathi, who is considered the Goddess of knowledge and wisdom
It is also believed that worship done on this day is equal to the worship done on all the other 9 days of Navarathri.
Vijayadashami is celebrated as the victory of Lord Rama over Demon Ravana and also a triumph of Goddess Durga over the Demon Mahishasura
